The ocean is our planet’s life-support system — yet it’s under imminent threat.

We are entering the sixth mass extinction, the first caused by humans. Despite its critical importance, only 2–3 % of the ocean is effectively protected, five times less than on land.

Protecting the ocean is no longer optional, it’s essential for our survival. The ocean has no voice, so we have to give it one.

Through our footage, storytelling and our films, we reveal its beauty, its fragility and its urgent cry for protection. A single story can reach millions, shift perceptions and inspire change where politics and science alone simply cannot. Storytelling is not just communication, it’s conservation in motion.

Ocean Souls Films is a professional production company based in London, UK, with over five years of experience creating impactful, award-winning ocean conservation films. Our work has helped raise global awareness, engage audiences worldwide, and inspire meaningful change. We are not politically driven activists, our approach is rooted in science, knowledge, beauty, emotion and love for the ocean.

Ocean Souls Explorer, our sailing catamaran, is a key part of our work, and is dedicated to transforming scientific exploration into powerful visual storytelling. Navigating subtropical waters and beyond, our vessel not only serves as a resource for scientific discovery but also as a mobile production studio, enabling us to create a stream of compelling conservation stories and short films, content that reconnects audiences with the ocean and its incredible lifeforms.

We believe storytelling is one of the most effective tools for conservation. We would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with your team to share our high-quality, engaging footage and help drive meaningful environmental impact. A single story can reach millions, shift public perceptions and spark change in ways that science and policy alone often cannot. Our goal is to ensure our reliable and emotionally engaging content reaches global audiences through trusted media platforms.

Our footage ranges from rare, never-before-seen underwater moments to urgent, eye-opening stories that shed light on critical threats facing our oceans today. We work closely with scientists, NGOs, local communities and governments to amplify their voices and bring critical conservation stories to light.

We have the vision, the expertise and the platform but true impact comes through collaboration. We invite you to join us in sharing these important stories, protecting marine life and reshaping humanity’s relationship with nature.

Together, we can turn awareness into action and action into global change, one story at a time.

A message from our Director, Philip Hamilton
